The 24th Country Night Gstaad from September 21 to 23, 2012 once again offers a typically attractive and varied programme. Gute Neuigkeiten für alle Country-Music-Fans: Das «International Festival Of Country Music» war 23 Jahre lang in der Wembley Arena in London ein Sprungbrett für heutige Country-Legenden. Nun kommt das Festival nach 1993 auch wieder in die Schweiz. Als Headlinerin konnte eine der grössten Country-Stars überhaupt verpflichtet werden: Reba McEntire. Weitere Top-Acts sind die in Gstaad bekannten Ricky Skaggs und Asleep At The Wheel. Das «International Festival of Country Music» geht am Freitag, 2. März 2012 (19 Uhr) im Hallenstadion Zürich über die Bühne.

In der vergangenen Nacht wurden zum 45. Mal die begehrten CMA-Awards verliehen. Miranda Lambert konnte sich als Sängerin des Jahres 2011 durchsetzen. Und Lady Antebellum gewannen zum dritten Mal in Folge den Award für die Gruppe des Jahres! Herzliche Gratulation!
